Orquestra Inventada presents the single Company Rocamora — a sonic and collective tribute that celebrates memory, language, and shared rebellion.

And we’re moving the global release forward to Monday, April 21, so the songs can echo through your Sant Jordi bookstalls, playlists and loudspeakers all around.

The first track shares its name with the single: Company Rocamora.

It’s a farewell and a fight song dedicated to Joan Rocamora — a tireless activist, fierce educator, and unwavering defender of Catalan land and culture. One of those essential souls who always went beyond.

The lyrics are woven from Viatge a Ítaca by Lluís Llach and from the Catalan translation of Ithaka by C.P. Cavafy, rendered by Carles Riba.

They urge us to walk our path, to never stop, and to remain loyal to our people — just as he did, and surely still does, wherever he may be.

The song was composed the very night of his passing. It beats with memory, resistance, and love — transforming grief into living commitment.

The second track is a direct, festive, and radical call: Volem més Català!

With ska energy and an open heart, it claims language as both a right and a bridge — joyfully, inclusively, and with the conviction that a country is built collectively. It challenges the idea that “the land belongs to no one” with the powerful reply: “the land belongs to us all.”
